We collect information necessary to process your university admissions, visa applications, and student file management:

  • Personal Identifiers: Full name, date of birth, passport number, phone number, email address, physical address.
  • Academic Records: Transcripts, graduation certificates, English proficiency test scores (IELTS/PTE/TOEFL/Duolingo), CV, and Statement of Purpose.
  • Financial & Payment Records: Service fee receipts, payment transaction references, and payment slips.

2. Google API Services & Google Drive User Data Policy

Google API Limited Use Disclosure:

Abroad Setup's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy , including the Limited Use requirements.

Scope of Access: We only access your Google Drive storage via authorized OAuth scopes (drive.file and drive) to upload and organize student documents into designated application folders.
No Unauthorized Reading: We do not scan, browse, or read any unrelated files or folders outside of the files uploaded specifically for Abroad Setup services.
No AI Training or Sale of Data: We never sell Google user data to third parties, nor do we use your Google Drive files or metadata to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used solely for legitimate educational consultancy and processing purposes, including:

  • Preparing and submitting admission applications to universities and colleges.
  • Scheduling embassy appointments and visa documentation compliance.
  • Sending automated application status updates, due reminders, and payment receipts via Email or WhatsApp.
  • Maintaining a secure digital record of student files.

4. Data Security & Storage

We implement industry-standard encryption protocols (SSL/TLS in transit, encrypted database storage at rest) to protect your sensitive documents. Document access is restricted to verified consultants, authorized admissions officers, and the student themselves via secure JWT-authenticated portals.

5. Your Data Rights & Revoking Access

You maintain full ownership of your data. You may at any time:

  • Request a complete copy of all records stored under your student file.
  • Request permanent deletion of your profile and uploaded documents upon conclusion of your application.
  • Revoke Abroad Setup's access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account Security Settings .
